All of our kids wrestled well and we can see visible improvement on their technique all around. 
Darren Rabinowitz, wrestled very well against Mahwah's Justin Janco who took 4th place at the Tri County Tournament last year. Darren scored a takedown in the first period and then pretty much shut him down from that point on. Darren won 2-1. In his second match Darren lost to Tri County 2nd place winner Kevin Collins. They will meet up again.

Chris Forte, wrestled his first match against a kid from Pascak Hills. This kid was very tough but Chris never gave up and wrestled him head on to the end in a loosing effort. In his second match, he wrestled Des.
Des wrestled a great match against this same Pascak Hills kid. Des lost 5-4, but could have won this one. Des constantly applied the pressure and never gave up and hit 2 great shots and scored on both. With 10 seconds left Des turned around to look at the clock and his opponent shot in and killed Des' hopes of winning. 

Des wrestled Chris in the second match.

Juann, wrestled in the HS division and did not do poorly in his first match. Went three periods against a Freshman from Warren Hills. In his other matches he wrestled Juniors and Seniors. He was very proud of taking this step.
