The Mo-Town Grapplers Club's volunteer board, coordinators, and coaches have been hard at work all spring preparing for the upcoming wrestling season. We are doing everything possible to keep costs down as we prepare for another safe and enjoyable wrestling experience. To give you an idea just how far your contrubutions stretch consider what we have done:

• In December 2004, we began the season wrestling on a brand new, state-of-the-art mat. This mat replaced a 30 year-old, worn out mat that was handed down from the high school 10 years ago.
• Last year, we joined the prestigious Tri-County League.
• In July, we sponsored a scholarship program that sent 13 of our kids to a one week wrestling summer camp.

The key issues that we face this year are:

• Increased participant enrollment from last year.
• Rising insurance costs and league fees.
• Need for essential team uniforms and safety equipment.
• Maintaining our scholarship fund that will allow a group of our young wrestlers to participate in a one week University Wrestling Camp.

Needless to say, this will prove, for some, a once in a lifetime experience.
