Frank Crippen, 44, is an Operations Manager currently working for Hayward Industries in Elizabeth, NJ. He and his wife Jeanine have two children, 12 year old wrestler Frank and 14 year old soccer star Meghan. Coach Frank began his wrestling career at age 11 in Williamsport, PA and later moved to Massachusetts where he wrestled for Masconomet high school. He continued his wrestling career at Lehigh University where he majored in Industrial Engineering. His coaching experience began in high school when he helped his father start a recreation program in MA. Frank is in his 6th year of coaching with the Morristown team.

His goal for the Clinic kids this year is to introduce them to the sport of wrestling, teach them sportsmanship, and above all else - have fun.

Dan Corcoran, a 36 NJIT degreed Mechanical Engineer, performs training & troubleshooting at Schindler Elevator Corp as a Senior Engineer - Traction Installation Standards.

Coach Dan started wrestling at the age of seven with the original Twin Town Tigers organization. The core of this team moved onto Morristown High School through the years 1987-1990 where Morristown High School enjoyed it's greatest success.

Even though Dan suffered a knee injury during 1989, he managed to place in the two pre-season tournaments and received the Most Pins Award in the Westfield Tournament. During his senior year, he was named one of the captains of the Morristown High School wrestling team, which placed in the District 9 tournament.

Dan is one of the founding members of the revived Twin Town Tigers, which was renamed Mo-Town Grapplers. He has witnessed the rise of the organization and is anxious to see it translate into a success at both the youth and high school levels in Morristown

Matt Manahan

Matt Manahan is a 36 year old Micro-Biologist at Schering Plough.  He and his wife, Roxana, live in Morristown.   As one of the founding Mo-Town Grappler Club members, he has dedicated eight years to coaching.  

Coach Matt's goal for this season is to see improvements in all the wrestlers and to prepare the younger wrestlers to become full-time varsity wrestlers next season.

Dan Gable's quote, "There's no secret to my success, -its hard work" is one Coach Matt lives by. For those who are unfamiliar with Dan Gable, he was an Iowa State wrestler with unprecedented records who went on to win the 1972 Gold medal at the Summer Olympics. Mike O'Neill, 40, is the VP of the Supply Chain at AEP Industries, Plastics Manufacturing Company. He and his wife, Leigh, have three children, Shane, Morgan & Brennan, a Grappler wrestler.

Coach Mike and his brothers, Chris and Josh, were members of the original Twintown Tigers Wrestling Club. He has 10 years of personal experience wrestling between grade school and college. His experience in coaching includes three years of wrestling, and eight years of Babe Ruth Baseball in Morristown for both the regular and All-Star seasons.

His goal for coaching this year is to help generate enthusiasm for the sport for first and second year wrestlers and to provide a sound base of wrestling moves while keeping it fun for everyone. He also plans to generate continued growth in the Mo-Town Grapplers Wrestling program.

Guy Bock, 45, is a Sr. VP/Financial Advisor at Smith Barney. He is married to Susan and has two children, Alexandra and Guy T., an 9  year old in the Grapplers Club.

Coach Guy has six years of coaching various sports, with four years as a wrestling coach. He grew up wrestling, first for the Phillipsburg Youth Program between 2nd and 8th grade, then at Phillipsburg High/Moravian Academy for four years. He also wrestled at Syracuse University.

His goal this year as a coach is to teach the kids the sport, sportsmanship, discipline, work ethic, and self confidence.

He is happy to be a Jr. Colonials Wrestling Coach.


Jim Morette

Jim Morette is a 39 year old Sales Manager for International Contract Molding in NC responsible for all marketing/sales of their North American plastic pallet division.  He and his wife, Melissa live in Whippany with their 3 year old daughter, Gianna.

Coach Jim's goal as a volunteer coach this season is to help with the development of both the clinic groups and varsity kids. He wants to be a positive influence for the wrestlers to follow and to provide support for the coaches during practices, dual meets and tournaments.

Coach Jim started wrestling in high school and was a 2x state qualifier in Florida. He continued wrestling for four years at Clarion University and was a teammate of Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle.

Vin Forte, 42, is a Sr. VP & CUO for AIG Surety. He is married and has three children, Vinnie, Chris and Katie. Chris is a Grappler. Coach Vin is in his fourth year of coaching with the Grapplers and has coached a number of other sports. He started wrestling in 8th grade at Thompson Junior High in Middletown and continued to wrestle and coach until his family moved to Louisiana.His goal this year as a coach is to teach sportsmanship, discipline, work ethic, and self confidence.

In order to be a Mo-Town Grappler Coaching Volunteer, completion of the 3-hour Rutgers Certification Training Program is mandatory. Rutgers Training Certificate

There are a few upcoming Rutgers SAFETY Clinics scheduled in this area. Schedule sessions can be found here. Once you have completed the course & obtained your certification, please provide a copy of your Rutgers Certification Card to the head coach.
