Join the Mo-Town Grapplers and Discover the Fastest-Growing Sport in America

Girls wrestling is one of the fastest-growing sports in the nation β€” and it’s taking off right here in Morristown! More than 74,000 girls now wrestle in high school, a five-fold increase over the past decade. New Jersey now has its own district, regional, and state championships for girls, and Morristown High School is launching its first all-girls wrestling team this season.

To help inspire the next generation of female wrestlers, the Mo-Town Grapplers Club is excited to announce the launch of our new Girls Clinic team β€” a supportive and fun environment for girls in grades 2–5 to build confidence, strength, and friendships while learning the fundamentals of wrestling.

πŸ’ͺ Why Wrestle?

  • Builds athleticism, coordination, and confidence

  • Teaches discipline and self-defense

  • Encourages resilience and mental toughness

  • Fosters lifelong friendships

  • Most of all β€” it’s fun!

🧑 Our Programs

  • Pre-Clinic (Grades K–1):
Saturday morning co-ed practices focused on movement, fun, and fundamentals.
  • Girls Clinic (Grades 2–5):
Our new girls-only program meets Monday and Wednesday evenings, with optional Saturday scrimmages. It’s the perfect introduction to wrestling β€” in a supportive, confidence-building setting designed for beginners.

Wrestling is more than a sport β€” it’s a community. Whether your child wants to try something new or join a team that challenges and empowers them, the Mo-Town Grapplers are ready to welcome you to the mat!
